We will contact you after you place your order to collect your deposit which will be one half of your total. The balance will be collected prior to shipping of beef or at time of pickup. The deposit is nonrefundable.
When you order a half beef, you're buying a share of a whole cow, which will be butchered, processed, and packaged for you. The specific cuts you receive will be a wide assortment that you can use for different types of meals. Here's an idea of what you choose to get with a half beef order:

- T-bone or Porterhouse steaks

We will ask you how you'd like specific cuts packaged (e.g., thickness of steaks, weight of ground beef packages, etc. Some choices may require extra expense.
Size & Weight
- A half beef typically weighs approximately 300 lbs of hanging weight, which is the weight of the beef after it’s been slaughtered and butchered but before it's packaged. After processing, you will end up with approximately 160 lbs of meat, depending on bone content and cuts.
